
Mark Hartwell is the Medical Director of the clinic. He is a 1983 graduate of Texas A&M; however, he attended the University of Texas for his undergraduate studies and considers himself a Longhorn. He competed in gymnastics in college and coached men's gymnastics at U.T. for 12 years. He started Arbor Animal Clinic in 1990 and has been acting as Medical Director since 2003.

Laurie Dulaney has been with us since her graduation from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She was born in Conroe but grew up in Splendora, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lamar University in Beaumont. Laurie has many past achievements including working at the Texas A&M Large Animal Clinic, working with the Humane Society, and as a founding member of the Aggie Feral Cat Alliance of Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, swimming, camping, reading, cooking, painting, and traveling. She has several cats and three ducks at home and an avid interest in feline medicine. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine with special interest in dentistry and geriatric medicine.

Rebecca Davies received her DVM from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She is originally from Anchorage, Alaska but has been in Texas since she was in high school. She enjoys anything outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Davies enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in internal medicine and behavior.

Jordan Kautz was born and raised her in Austin, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Science in 3 years, Magna Cum Laude. He then began veterinary school at Texas A&M University and graduated in 2011. He was president of the Veterinary Business and Management Association. Dr. Kautz is also interested in digital radiography and internal medicine. He has a three year old yellow Labrador named Gracie. He loves to relax at the lake, hunt and play with Gracie!

Meredith Hobbs received her DVM from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate studies. After graduation in May of 2010, she moved to Austin to pursue a small animal rotating internship at Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital. She loved Austin so much that she and her two dogs, Lady and Sky, made it their new home. Her special interests include dermatology, soft tissue surgery and emergency medicine. During her free time she enjoys playing soccer and sand volleyball, running, live music and lake time.

Nancee Swanson has been our Hospital Manager since 1995. She is from San Antonio but traveled all over Europe with her father in the Air Force while growing up. She attended San Antonio College. Nancee has been in Veterinary Medicine for over twenty years and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills from many years as a veterinary technician and surgery tech. She keeps the clinic running smoothly and oversees all daily operations and functions. She is energetic, dedicated and a huge part of the success of our practice. She and her husband share their home with their Border Collie "Molly", Jack Russell "Petey" and a three-legged cat named "Trixie".
